The theme of the 2021 reading was LaborFest Writers’ Reflections on Current Events. Readers from the group shared memoir, storytelling, oral history, and poetry, exploring the issues working people face within their families, communities, and government — health, housing, jobs, race and gender discrimination, and homelessness.
